Policy
**Notification: **We order food on an as-needed basis. This allows us to provide our clients with fresh, high-quality food. To ensure proper service, all catering requests should be made 14 days prior to each function.
**Guarantees: **You will need to provide the guaranteed number of expected guests a minimum of four working days prior to the function. Once the deadline has passed, you will be billed at 100 percent of the guaranteed guest count or the actual count, whichever is greater.
Cancellations: We require a 48-hour minimum notice to cancel an event. If cancellations are made after this time period, you may be billed for any expenses incurred.
Please note: Special order items that we are unable to return will be billed to your account.
Equipment: Equipment supplied for unsupervised events is the responsibility of the client ordering the function. You will be charged replacement costs for equipment NOT returned.
Linen: We have linen, napkins, or table covers available for rental for your function held at Luther College, or for off-site events.
Leftover Food: Leftover food, beverages, and supplies are the property of Luther Catering and are not to be taken. We plan and prepare enough food for the guaranteed number of people plus five percent. We ensure that the last guest will have the same menu selections as the first guest. The client is paying for the guaranteed number of people. Any leftover food, beverages, or supplies belong to the college. This applies to all events.
Alcohol: Luther Catering is fully licensed by the State of Iowa to serve wine and beer at events in Dahl Centennial Union and Baker Commons. If you plan to have alcohol served at your event, please complete and return this form to Luther Catering: Alcohol Policies [pdf].

Center Stage Dinner Series
The highly creative and talented chefs of the Norse Culinary Team invite you to partake in the Center Stage Dinner Series, featuring a different multi-course menu to complement each evening’s performance. Local ingredients will be used whenever possible and will be highlighted at each dinner. The dinners are served on campus within walking distance of the Center for Faith and Life, where the performances are held.
All meals will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Peace Dining Room on the second floor of Dahl Centennial Union. Dinner tickets are $28 per person. Wine and beer are available for purchase.
A distinctive vegetarian entrée (V) will be available for every meal. Special dietary needs will be accommodated as we are able; please inform the Ticket Office at time of ticket purchase (a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meal).
Guests who want to sit together should designate this on the order form (or notify the Box Office a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meal). Luther students may use NordicCash.
Menu items are subject to change based on availability.
To purchase tickets for a dinner, return to the Center Stage Series page, and select the show you plan to attend.
